Well away from major roads but within a short drive of villages and shopping. Les Arbalestes is only 11 km from the historic Bastide village of Eymet, the bustling markets of Castillonnes, medieval Issigeac and the Chateau village of Lauzun.

Only 23 km from historic Bergerac and its International Airport with flights from Stansted, Bristol, Southampton, Manchester etc. Bordeaux is less than 1 and a half hours drive away, Toulouse 2 hours, Limoge, around 3 hours. The fishing villages and stylish resorts of the Atlantic Coast are also around 3 hours drive.

Closer to home, the beauty of the Dordogne River is practically on your doorstep for tranquil days swimming in clear water, picnicking and canoe adventures for the all the family. Beautiful walking countryside, a variety of golf-courses to suit all pockets, sight-seeing, shopping, bustling night markets, wine-tasting and gastronomic delights all await you.

Back at home, Les Arbalestes is well equipped with outdoor games, boules, badminton, a full-size table tennis in the barn and a solar powered radio. The pool is close to the

house in a raised corner of the courtyard, fenced and gated to comply with French law. Nine metres by five metres it has a maximum depth of 2m and is thoroughly serviced twice weekly.

There is a paved sun terrace on three sides of the pool and ample shady areas for al fresco living when the sun is at its hottest. The property is well supplied with garden furniture and ….two more essentials - a decent Weber BBQ and a second fridge in the barn to keep your poolside drinks icy cold.
